Remember Molly’s poem “Where I’m From”? She wrote that she was from the orange box in the garage.
Here’s that box

I was juggling law and two young kids without help at home. No time for elaborate baby books.

The Memory Box is similar to a time capsule. It contains ticket stubs from places we visited, photos and notes I would jot down when the kids said or did something I wanted to remember. I’m so glad we have it. These are just a few notes. I know I have a box for 2013 too.

When the kids started school, I started sending things like this to Artkive to make books, and quit creating the boxes. I wish I had continued the practice of taking a second to write down the funny things they said when they were younger. Parents, I highly recommend it!

Another funny one. Nate was 19 mos and Molly wasn’t even 3.5. She was trying to teach him to say words like “computer” and “binoculars”

When I laughed and said she was crazy, she replied, “Why I are frazy?”
