Taken as a plebiscite the Holyrood vote supports the settled will, long indicated by polls, that most Scots don& #39;t want a referendum. Not only did more vote against it, even more weren& #39;t motivated to vote at all.

There simply is not popular support.

When asked how Scots who wanted her as First Minister but who *didn& #39;t* want a referendum should vote Nicola was clear - #BothVotesSNP
