I made a conscious decision to skip college and take a blue collar job to learn a trade.

As a result, I have no student loan debt.

What I did get was people talking shit to me for not having a degree and held back from opportunities because I don’t have credentials.
It’s hard not to be salty at the thought of people having their loans forgiven, but personally I don’t care as much because I know I run circles around them regardless.

But what about the other kids that go the trade route that will always have a ceiling placed on their career?
It’s time for people to have some personal accountability.
I can think of two times in the last 6 months I’ve had people take shots at me on Twitter for not having a degree because it’s the only attack that their little brain can generate.

Now they’ll have their loans forgiven.
