I've had so many students email me lamenting how they could possibly network in a pandemic. Tips!
Send thoughtful emails to pros asking for advice/to portfolio reviews (then follow up & IMPLEMENT their fixes!)
Follow industry folks on twitter / insta! Post art & interact!

Join cool discord servers that have a mix of students and pros, and post your work for feedback!
Hop on hashtag events like Portfolio Day, or like @ebbigal's #Feboardary
Take advantage of mentorships, do research (Ex: Women of Color Unite/StartWith8Hollywood!)
Keep contact info (email, portfolio) in your bio, have a pinned tweet with your artwork, try to make it your profile pic and cover image too. I should be bombarded w artwork when I check out your page!
Include Looking for Work in your bio or name!
Make a LinkedIn
Additionally, DON'T DO THIS:
Find and add people's personal Facebook or Discord (some people are okay with this, others like myself are not)
Call their phone numbers or text them if you find their number, personal OR work
Email with animation opinions

I'll add more as I think of them!! Feel free to add in the comments too! :)
