Classical Triads 🔺
1-Beck Triad (Cardiac Tamponade)

1️⃣Muffled heart sounds
2️⃣Hypotension
3️⃣Distention in JVP
2-Charcot Triad (Acute cholangitis)

1️⃣Fever with chills
2️⃣RUQ pain
3️⃣Jaundice either clinical or biochemical

✳️Clinical: when Total Bilirubin is >2.5-3
✳️Biochemical: when Total Bilirubin >1
3-RV infarction Triad (mostly with inferior STEMI)

1️⃣Hypotension
2️⃣Distention in JVP
3️⃣Clear lungs 🫁

Managements:
Immediately push fluids
4-Rigler Triad (gall stone ileus)

1️⃣small bowel obstruction
2️⃣Air in biliary tree 🌳
3️⃣Stone in the right lower quadrant
5-Carcinoid syndrome Triad

1️⃣Flushing
2️⃣Diarrhea
3️⃣Right side Heart failure
6-PHEochromocytoma triad:
—“P-H-E”:
1️⃣Palpitations
2️⃣Headache
3️⃣Episodic diaphoresis
7-Cushing’s triad (⬆️ intracranial pressure)
1️⃣Hypertension
2️⃣Bradycardia
3️⃣Irregularrespirations
8-Whipple’s triad (insulinoma)
1️⃣Hypoglycemia
2️⃣CNS and vasomotor symptoms (Syncope,diaphoresis)
3️⃣Relief of symptoms with glucose administration
9-Refeeding syndrome Triad (after refeeding a starved patient):

1️⃣Hypokalemia
2️⃣Hypomagnesemia 3️⃣Hypophosphatemia
10-Wernicke’s encephalopathy triad (thiamine deficiency)

1️⃣Confusion
2️⃣ataxia
3️⃣ophthalmoplegia
