Katsuhiko Nakajima talks about how grateful he is to the Sasaki family. Nakajima came from a very bleak background, his father absent since he was a child, his mother raised him in extreme poverty - electricity shut off, no money even for school meals.
The Sasaki's kind of semi adopted him (Nakajima lived in their home), he even used to pick the kids up from Kindergarten. Sasaki considered him part of the family. When he married, Akira Hokuto joked she would become "the demon mother-in-law"

Akira Hokuto has three cookery books. In one of them Kensuke Sasaki wrote the preface...he said that his family laugh at his cooking.
