The right time to pressure elected officials, according to twitter 🙃

Primary - "you're gonna hurt our chances of winning!"
General - "first we have to win!"
After they win - "Can't we take a break?"
Once they're sworn in - "don't risk the midterms!"

The right time is always.
Joe Biden is vetting his cabinet now. And whether or not we flip the Senate, executive policy will be a big part of the administration.

Who is in that administration matters, and the next few months are the only time we have to impact the roster of Joe Biden's executive team.
Too many want to be able to engage passively with politics; to vote and feel good about who's in office and stop engaging.

We will not win justice for our communities, avert climate change, or create good jobs by standing on the sidelines and hoping.

We have to fight.
There are those in the center who don't think we should be pushing Joe Biden, because they prefer a more centrist, bipartisan view of government.

There are those on the left who think we can't push Joe Biden, because they don't think established politicians can be pushed.
Don't ever let anybody -- left, progressive, or center -- tell you to be ashamed of fighting for more than they imagine possible.

Protesting is democracy. Working with reps you don't fully agree w/ is democracy.

It's exhausting and frustrating and messy but absolutely necessary
We are engaged in the fight to win two Senate seats in Georgia. But that doesn't mean everything else grinds to a halt. We can't chase election after election in and endless cycle without figuring out how to demand more from the politicians who already claim to represent us.
