Firstly buy the best scout within budget of your club and send them out for scouting.
When the scout report arrives back after a month youâll have a selection of young players to sign to the Academy.
Once you sign your chosen players to the Academy you can then look at their stats where you can select a development plan for that player, the striker on the image below had better defending than shooting so I decided to make him a CDM.
When a player turns 60 rated promote them to the first team where you can see their potential If the player doesnât have a potential status I would recommend selling them. If the player has ,Exciting prospect or Has Potential To Be Special, youâve found a gem
My best youth player this year, Harry Baxter (as seen below) was originally a CB/CDM but in his development plan I made him a CAM because he had better shooting than defending so always check a players stats.
