Large far-right rallies are scheduled to begin at the Vancouver Art Gallery at noon on both Saturday & Sunday. But we recommend avoiding downtown #Vancouver, BC for the entire weekend if possible (especially Saturday night).

Like similar recent rallies, they& #39;re expected to bring together local anti-maskers, conspiracy theorists, QAnon cultists, and neo-Nazis.

However, supporters from as far away as Alberta and Saskatchewan are also traveling to attend. They represent a very high COVID risk.

They& #39;ll likely seek to initiate confrontation with BIPOC, suspected leftists, or anyone wearing a mask.

And recent history suggests @VancouverPD is unlikely to take any significant measures to protect the public from roving gangs of possibly infectious white supremacists.
