Them: she’s going to meet X for lunch. Do they have to sit outside the restaurant

Me: what borough are they in

Imagine if this had been tried in London

Imagine the govt announcement that said: we’re telling people in Newham to do one thing, people in Southwark to do something else, people in Westminster to do something else again and Camden can do what it wants but only on a Wednesday. Or whatever the hell our rules are now

Maybe that will happen - I doubt it though. And when you look at it that way, it’s a good example of how totally confused greater Manchester’s population is now.
