I don& #39;t think the claim that Biden isn& #39;t really Catholic will resonate with the kind of voters who Biden and Trump seem to be courting (moderate pro-life, white suburban Christian voters). The attack that he won& #39;t govern in line with those values has a chance of sticking.

He can obviously make the Matthew 25 case.

But he should also talk about how he& #39;ll work with institutions like Catholic charities, how he& #39;ll protect religious freedom for all faiths, and find common ground on abortion that separates him from his party& #39;s extreme stance.
