My brother got arrested downtown yesterday by @KCCAUG for lowering his mask to pick my call. They produced him to a kangaroo court at the City Hall and sentenced him to 3 weeks in prison. They didn& #39;t even give a chance to make his case. @Sambannz @nickopiyo #JusticeforJonathan

Jonathan has been at the forefront of producing and distributing over 8,000 facial masks since March 2019. Even by time of his arrest by @KCCAUG, he had come to the bus park to send facial masks to Lira.

Here& #39;s Jonathan distributing food and sanitary items (soap and facial masks) to urban refugees in Kampala. He was often wearing a mask even at the time when there wasn& #39;t scientific evidence that wearing masks help to prevent COVID-19~ #JusticeforJonathan @SilverKayondo @nickopiyo

Unfortunately, Jonathan has ulcers. They have not given him any food to eat since yesterday at 10:00AM when @KCCAUG arrested him. He called me groaning in pain and requested that I send him medication for ulcers! I thank @ElvisKintu for buying for him Chapatti @EriasLukwagoo

If there is anything Jonathan deserves, it is an award from @KCCAUG to support the institution& #39;s efforts in the fight against #COVID19 and for the poor in Kampala to wither to ferocious storm of the pandemic. @KampalaMinister
