i just started listening to the whole death grips discography front to back for the first time i guess i’ll make a thread w my thoughts on each album
exmilitary - 7.5/10
i toughts it would be noisier (?) still its pretty catchy

i came to this album with extremely high expectations and they all came true, its louder and even catchier than exmilitary

after listening to four dg in a row, this release feels kinda repetitive, i liked how aggresive it is tho

the powers that be - 8/10
its almost one hour and a half but it feels way shorter, i enjoyed the second half better, the first still has some great tracks

i already knew this album was all instrumental but i couldn& #39;t keep myself from expecting mc ride to come at any moment
their instrumental was what made me insterest in listening to them so it was a really enjoyable listen

its their best album since the money store, it feels very fresh

conclusion: i& #39;ll probably go back to exmilitary, money store, bottomless pit and powers that b soon, really great records
+that& #39;s my first time listening to an actual hip-hop album and it got me really excited to check out this genre more
