starting with xl backstory: he was the supreme of a huge super influential coven in the 1800s, but now he dresses like a hobo bc his coven was destroyed by witch hunters or smth. now he owns a little apothecary shop in downtown monster city idk
hc is the extremely powerful leader of an equally extremely powerful vampire cult. he& #39;s basically the godfather but fangs
one night as xl is on his way home from his shop, he comes across a vampire who is mortally injured. feeling super bad for the poor creature, xl brings him home and fixes him up. he goes to bed, knowing the vamp will make it. come morning he& #39;s gone
several months later, xl is working in his shop when a very handsome young vamp who introduces himself as San Lang, comes into his shop asking for something super easy, but time consuming. xl agrees bc money and he likes trying to help everyone who comes through his shop doors
they get talking and hit it off immediately.
