Long post but I’m upset.
1-We live in a neighborhood that’s a lot of wooded areas & then houses dotted here & there. It’s on the lake & its primarily retirees that have lived here forever. 95% tRumpers, gun nuts, racist, Christian types; it’s TX so you get the picture.

2. I’ve tried being nice & would love nothing more than have friendly neighbors to talk to, but that was a BIG nope. Since moving here permanently 3 yrs ago, my husband has been threatened at gunpoint 2 times, is being harassed still on his daily runs by a group of rednecks.
3. I’ve been threatened twice, once at gunpoint & once w/the “I open carry” bullshit. We’ve had a visit from the fat redneck good ‘ole boy sheriff twice. Once because 1 of our dogs ran toward the neighbor’s fence because she started yelling for her dog, who was behind the fence.
4. The other time because the redneck who opened a BBQ stand at the opening to the neighborhood called because my husband flipped him off. These ppl hate large dogs, especially Pitbulls. We have 2 mixed who are so sweet & 1 Chihuahua. Our dogs have been threatened by several ppl.
5. They’ve said if they ever see our dogs, they’ll shoot them. We take our dogs out & they are on our property. If someone walks through the area, not on our property, they want to go visit. They usually listen to me very well & stop. I’m terrified someone will hurt them.
6. A few minutes ago, I checked like I always do before going out but just as me & the dogs went out, a herd of large bucks took off; naturally, dogs being dogs, they started off after them. They stopped when I told them but then don’t you know, some dude was walking up the path
7. They immediately went running towards him, barking. My heart fell to my stomach. I ran so fast yelling for them & begging whoever it was not to hurt them! They’re just big goofy dogs. Thankfully it was someone nice who understood to just stand still & talk to them.
8. I was practically in tears as I apologized. He was ok about it. I brought the dogs in & yelled at them. If it had been any one of those assholes, they’d be dead now. I can’t make them understand that. So now I’m crying & my feet hurt because I’m always barefoot & running thru
9. woods is hazardous to feet. I’m so upset that they could easily be dead now. And I can’t imagine what I would do to a person that would do that. I’d probably be dead too.
I just want the world to be a good place & it’s never going to happen. Trump has made it worse.

10. Okay, I’m done & im sorry to spill all this mess of sadness & anxiety on your TL’s. I need a hug from my Highlander is all.
These are my beautiful girls. I love them so much.
And just so you know how truly horrible some of these ppl are, they shoot cats. That’s another worry I have every second of every day. Someone shot & killed my beautiful Laya in front of our house. I’ve had several of my babies never come home & im afraid that’s what happened.
