It& #39;s striking how successful @bandcamp have been (for a long period, not just since Covid) at creating a community and helping fans & artists to feel involved, not to mention paid directly..

Spotify& #39;s response - the tip jar - is an implicit and insulting admission that the platform and its payment structure clearly does not work for a lot of artists, especially those at the start of their careers.
