Most Ohioans are well aware of the arrests of Speaker Larry Householder and his associates this week. We’ve taken a few days to let the dust settle, so we could process everything that’s transpired before issuing this statement.
We want to speak to young people in politics. The impressionable, the eager, the next generation. We want to be unequivocal here: this is not what public service is about.
Corruption, bribery, and conspiracies are always the wrong answer. Life is not about taking the easy way out. House of Cards isn’t real. Larry Householder needs to resign.
