I was chatting with my Mom yesterday and she told me that my Aunt will be retiring next week

"Of course she does" Mom says. She has been working for Lagos state government for about 30+ years. Her job was pretty much "steady"

The worst part is that she has no choice but to move to her own house which is built in a somewhat remote area. Mind you, she& #39;s yet to complete this building...just some finishing touches here and there. This means; good bye 1 million Naira!

What will she be occupied with when she moves to her house?

A place with no family and friends? Hello depression!

I truly feel for her

Moral of the story: You are not too young to start preparing for retirement

You don& #39;t have to experience something before you learn

There is so much bliss in avoiding potholes that others have fallen in

You& #39;re thinking to yourself..."Retirement is still far na Dr K"
