In the last year we lost weeks of parliamentary time due to unlawful prorogation, lockdown and then had a blended approach
With a pandemic, brexit and now the russia report I propose MPs give up their 10 week summer holidays to close the "debating gap"

This is valuable time our parliamentary backbenchers representing the vulnerable and disadvantaged will never get back. As public servants with gold plated pensions they need to put the people first, afteral thats why they took the job, they even get more time off than teachers
They say they were working hard at home during lockdown but most were probably just drinking prosecco while sitting in hot tubs whilst on full pay. I know many constituents have complained with the lack of contact they've recieved from MPs despite sending multiple emails.
If they really cared about the people they would give up their summer holidays, Saturdays and work longer evenings to close the "debating gap" but they are more concerned about their holidays and indoctrinating people with their political ideology than addressing ppls needs.
They all need to come back in September without social distancing and without masks, getting them to sit by political party 'bubbles' should be enough to keep them safe, afteral there are very few cases of transmission between MPs or parliamentary staff.
We will send parliament a few home testing kits incase anyone becomes symptomatic, only those who are symptomatic will need testing,if several MPs in one party 'bubble' test positive we MAY isolate the bubble.MPs are very safe the death rate shows they are not in a high risk group
Because of this all MPs who were shielding will be expected back in Parliament full time, those who refuse will face loss of pay and/or disciplinary action
If they don't like this then they can find another job and plenty of members of the public will volunteer to take their place
