1/ Last week, on July 11, the city celebrated its first day without any new COVID-19 deaths in New York City.
As of today, data shows there were actually thirteen confirmed deaths caused by COVID-19 on July 11.
Here’s the data issue with “zero” deaths.

3/ We’ve found deaths for any given day take about *five days* to level out after they’re first reported.

4/ Here’s an example from each day of the last full week of June.
