Kukikhel had wholeheartedly welcomed Army in 2003. Army made posts and Kukikhel were supporting them in every possible way. Army retreated from Tirah in 2005 followed by emergence of terrorists like Mangal Bagh and armed groups like Namdar. 1/n

Kukikhel never let militants to enter into their area. They resisted both Mangal Bagh and TTP. TTP wanted Kukikhel to allow them to operate from Rajgal area but every time Kukikhel denied them.

Meanwhile state had forgotten Kukikhels who wr resisting these terrorists on their own. State indifference does not end there and in 2020 PAF killed 60 ppl of Kukikhel tribe on a single day. Fall of Tirah in hands of terrorists started from tht day 3/n.

It was painful to Kukikhel, they buried 60 of its ppl killed by an Army which otherwise should& #39;ve been in their support. this Sra vella tragedy weakened Kukikhels. Mangal Bagh and TTP men started mocking them for not picking arms against state. 4/n
Just like miltants State also mocked them. No state officials visited them for condolence. The then Army chief had just rendered remote and Informal apology. Political administration give a few thousands to each family which was very much akin to insult! #RehabilitateTirahIDPs
Extended family members of Sra Vella victims approached Peshawar high court and only after PHC verdict some relief was given to them.
All ths indifference, humiliation and insulting attitude,which exists till date, of State didnt stop Kukikhels from resisting the terrorists.

Kukikhel were resisting on two fronts till TTP attacked them in 2012 with full force and overpowered Kukikhel. Dozens of Kukikhel members killed in the resistance. Kukikhels had no two option, reconcile with terrorists or leave the area. 7/n.

Kukikhels left the area in hustle. They left their belongings and cattles, In hilly areas cattle graze in hills and remain there for months. Whatever valuable they had managed to pick was snatched by Mangal Bagh men on the way to down area of Khyber. 8/n.
It was 2012 when Kukikhel became IDPs. Tirah Rajgal became a favourite sanctuary for TTP/ISIS. The terrorists thrived on bounty from Kukikhel defeat.
TTP also defeated Ansar ul Islam at Tirah Maidan in 2013 after which army again went to Tirah. 10/n

Kukikhel tribe from Tirahal also owns land at lower khyber jamrud, after becoming IDPs some stayed with their relatives and some dug caves and turn them homes. That& #39;s the reason they didn& #39;t go to IDPs camps.

Out of 22K Kukikhel families only 1800 families were registered as IDPs and were given ration till Sep 2017. Rest of 20K+ displaced families were not given a penny to sustain their living as a compensation of their loss of livelihood from Tirah. 2day thy didn& #39;t even talk about it

تیراہ کوکی خیل متاثرین کی بحالی کے لیے سیاسی اتحاد کا دھرنا 14 اگست کے دن بھی جاری رہا۔ مطالبہ ہے کے 9 سال سے آئی ڈی پیز کی با عزت اپنے علاقوں میں واپس جانے دیا جائے۔
Last week huge quantity of construction material including 150000 blocks hv been passed to Tirah. Army is constructing forts on land without consent of locals as ppl from the area r IDPs. V will resist forts n residential area.

After 30 Sep massive gathering for #RehabilitateTirahIDPs , joined by political leadership including @MushtaqJIKP ,Army officials met sitin organisers. Army officers repeated same old fake promises without giving any time frame for return & compensation till IDPs rehab.
Another eyewash and repeat of same old delaying tactics which v hear since 2018. No time frame for return, No recognitions as IDPs and compensation accordingly to 20 thousands of IDPs families. #shame.
