During highschool, his father brought him to a concert since San said he& #39;s not interested in studying anymore..San& #39;s dad thought that he has a talent to be become a singer & after the concert, San said to his dad, "Dad, my heart is beating..."(He wants to be become a singer)

After deciding he wants to become a singer, he leave Namhae and go to seoul to took an audition. After moving to Seoul, San transferred his school to Korean Art Highschool and he later become a trainee at KQ Entertainment.
