In "murder hotbeds" in cities like NYC&Chicago(Chitown) we see a lot of "black on black" crime.
For the uninitiated "black on black" crime usually refers to the senseless shooting that happens in these neighborhoods where hundreds of youth are shot or killed during summer months

In Chicago alone there are 59 gangs. There Are 100,000+ gang members in Chicago (2012). Nationwide 40% of all homicides in major cities from 09-11 were gang-related.

Some chicago gangs are SO OLD that there are Free Mason Temples that are still used as Headquarters for secret meetings til this very day. Even some high schools serve as HQ for gangs.
For black males age 16-19 there is a generational curse that persist around two things:
1) I need to protect my hood
2) I'm not a man unless I'm protecting my hood

Chicago has a history of early segregation and redlining where black communities would often have to travel outside&steal what they couldn't afford to get at the same time...this crime would also end up being intra-crime. In turn this meant gangs would have to protect their hoods
Decades later with several gangs merged, disbanded, overthrown etc...generations are so far removed that its all about turf wars and loyalty to ghosts who are either dead or in prison.
In fact the Gangsta Disciples were once a faction of two separate sides who came together while their leaders set up a truce and agreement IN PRISON to work together to take down other gangs.
Some gangs even tried to gain political office power but the system would arrest them for petty crimes to keep them in jail or taint their record before election seasons. (I'm looking at you Mayor Daley)
So here we are in 2020 and the senseless initiations and retaliations have never stopped. Yes there are times of peace where even the crips and bloods come together to fight oppressive systems and stand up for their cities against a violent threat...but things go back to normal
The senseless murder and gang violence that makes up .56% of crime is HORRIBLE...but don't let people blow it up like its an unsolvable problem. We need to teach our youths and brothers that they don't need to fend for themselves anymore. That the war is over. Put the guns down.

Thanks to the War on Drugs (which ended in some states by not all) black men&women have been arrested, convicted, and served more jail time per capita for nonviolent crime than nearly anyone is US history. This "War on Drugs" was soley created to fearmonger white votes

You're literally more likely to be raped or sexually assaulted on college campus than you are to be robbed. Let that sink in. You're 2 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE RAPED GOING TO SCHOOL THAN ROBBED.

And even with rape charges most white males will get away with it because they're "good boys" while many black men face death sentences. Even with no evidence (dna, visual, etc) and a later confession of perjury from the "victim" black men are still incarcerated more than whites
Now this isn't saying that all white people are evil. This isn't saying that black on black crime is a myth. This isn't saying that police aren't doing their job in white neighborhoods.
This is saying that in an extremely disproportionate way black on black crime and the over policing of minority neighborhoods is kind of like Donald Trumps Covid-19 Testing Policy. If you're always hovering around looking for crime, you're gonna see it more.
The real way to stop seeing so many positive cases isn't in "under testing" but in investing in preventative measures into those neighborhoods. You can't tell people to "Just say no" and act surprised when it doesn't work. You have to lead by example, see why they turn to crime.
Look at other cites, countries, etc that have "figured it out"

Invest into poverty stricken neighborhoods so they don't need to fend for themselves after years of oppression and self-mutilation.
Get inside schools and colleges to look for ways to help and not secretly arrested and incarcerate someone who does bad.

Also, white people: You're more likely to be killed by a white person than a black person. There's a 14% chance a black person might kill you vs 83% that another person that looks like you will kill you.
So just because all CNN, Fox News, The Donald, Law&Order SVU, CSI:Miami etc wants to show you are bad black guys and gals....the stats don't lie. Stop being inherently afraid of black&brown people. We're not a threat. We're not the enemy.
