I don’t take to twitter often during times like this because I often am unsure of what to say. I do know I will never tweet or post to fit in. I speak from my heart. I think action speaks much louder than words but with that being said... I have 2 brothers.                         officer. My younger brother is black and is at the beginning of his teenage years. The biggest thing that I feel the need to say is that I hope there comes a day where my younger brother can walk/drive down the street and feel comfortable if a cop is around. He should feel safe
                        
                        
                        
                        
                                                
                    
                    
                                    
                    
                        
                        
                        and not threatened by a cop in his vicinity. At the same time I hope that my older brother never feels threatened by being in the vicinity of a black person walking or driving around and is not to be presumptuous of their character. I back both of my brothers.                         safety, opportunities and love not because of their skin color, job title, education or age but because of their character and who they are as human beings.
