Last week, I logged onto twitter .com to lament about forgetting to pre-purchase the new hunger games book, not wanting to spend money, and how the Public Library had a CRAZY wait list...

My school librarian saw the bat signal and got an audio book copy for me available for our district library — AND alerted me the moment it went “live” so I could get it first. A very kind member of my PLN (whom I’ve yet to meet IRL) sent me an Amazon Gift Card (https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="‼️" title="Double exclamation mark" aria-label="Emoji: Double exclamation mark">) for the exact amount of the hardcover. (Again— wow, what generousity, @LennonAudrain!)

So now I’m listening to an audio version WHILE reading the paper copy. This is actually perfect for me, because my ADD actually does derail me often if I only have one medium, and makes reading “hard” sometimes.
