Your parents undeniably have a massive influence on how you view deen and Islam. Of course there are people who find religion on their own but not having a religious upbringing makes it 10x harder imo

Like when I was a teen I was massively misguided, in the end the only reason I decided to wear hijab at the time was to appease my parents and I grew to love it. I still struggle but I’d never take it off completely

My mother & older sister have been a massive influence in my life, tbh the only reason it suddenly dawned me that I should make an effort to complete the Quran this ramadhan was because I kept watching mum read it day and night
