my cat’s parents both (recently) died from 2 separate types of cancer at age 12

Momiji is 11 rn and im v nervous that he will get cancer within the next year and i don’t want him to spend his last year alone :(((

he’s always been v needy and affectionate but ever since i had to put jade to sleep, he will not leave me alone

i can’t take a shower, I can’t go to the bathroom, i literally cannot do anything without him following me or he SCREAMS

is there a point in this thread?? not really i just wish i knew what the right thing to do is
