This framing that quarantine breaking is about "personal risk" and your own immune system is what is straight-up killing disabled, elderly, and immuno-compromised people--as well as essential workers who are predominantly people of color.
"Would you kill your waiter for a steak" is the question here, not whether or not you& #39;d personally die for one.
"Would you kill your sex partner for a hookup" is the question, not whether or not you& #39;d die to get laid.
"Would you kill a gas station attendant to get to a golf game?"

"Would you kill a tow-truck operator to go to the park?"

"Would you kill the cashier at the bait shop to go fishing at the lake?"

This isn& #39;t about whether you& #39;d die, but whether you& #39;d kill.
If you& #39;re responding to this to cynically tell me that lots of people are willing to kill for their own convenience, please know that I know that.

I care about phrasing the "reopen" argument accurately; that doesn& #39;t make me a wide-eyed Pollyanna.
