Do men have an aversion to being called handsome for some reason?

To be clear I’m not talking about just giving a random man a compliment on his appearance. That’s weird for women and men.

I hope this thread evolves into men just calling each other handsome in the replies because that would be wholesome

The results from this thread are inconclusive: some you don’t like it, some of you like it, some of you just don’t know how to take a compliment.
