Big time embarrassed that I didn& #39;t realise the very easy em dash shortcut in word (--) and have instead been using en dashes out of laziness
Apparently this is a common mistake and honestly? En dashes with spaces around fulfill the same function but basically it seems that my high-horse needs some new glasses or something
But at least I haven& #39;t been using HYPENS like some of you fools that I see
(punctuation is a tool of the bourgeoise to make academia inaccessible by using invented and impenetrable rules to maintaing a sense of superiority ... Do what you want)
Same with spelling hence "maintaing" - I& #39;m ahead of the curve (no, not that curve)
