It really is exhausting to fight a war when so many pundits opine about why we are even bothering.
It’s like Vietnam. But stupider.

“Why cares whether Vietnam becomes communist” is a much more reasonable question (in retrospect) than “who cares if 1-2% of Americans die this year?”
Or “who cares whether 10% of Americans spend 2-4 weeks in the hospital this year with pneumonia?”
