Unsurprisingly not many doctors are actively preparing for retirement for many reasons & the intrinsic link with identity is strong.
Interestingly most study participants are used to working many hours that the group average of 38hr/wk was considered part time work

Drs 65yrs+ had greater medical board notifications than those 36-60yo.
