You can pretty much invest in anything at anytime, very little is an opportunity. They’re playing on a perception of missing out, FOMO as the kids call it. It’s a known behavioural bias

I have no ideas of the prospects of Whisky investments

Beware the investment ‘advice’ that comes through your email or a targeted Facebook ad.
